Holly Schmidt
Owner, Creative Director, Master Designer
Hi! I absolutely love my industry. I have a passion, desire, and dedication to my craft, that never makes me feel like it’s a “job”. My passion, has allowed me to thankfully be successful in owning several salons through my 25+ years in this amazing exciting field.
I put my guest first, by not forgetting that my livelihood depends on them. I am forever grateful, thankful, and present while with my guests. I want to teach my clients how to do many different things with their hair, while sharing time with them behind the chair. I love that my regular guest allow me to be free creatively, to do whatever I feel is best for them. Their trust in me is humbling, and exciting to have a canvas to paint on...so to speak.
Wicked Scissors Salon was created differently, with a twist on the industry. I feel that bringing in the right stylist and investing in them along the way, is vital to success. I am thankful for them, as much as I am my own guests. You will see “starting @ pricing” with newer talent, ranging up to “master designer” pricing. That is because we will have new talent stylist who will be trained, and continuing their education with Wicked Scissors. This effort will not just be for hair, but in business as well. This will allow the new stylist’s to grow with their families and clients. I want the best for my new talent, and I will allow them to move and grow at their own speed, into commission, and eventually into their own boss as booth owners. I want to make a difference in others lives, and make an impact by investing in them. I want the detail in others to thrive behind the chair, so that the clients in the chair, all benefit from a great experience! This industry is constantly moving and changing, but i still believe it is powered by passion, desire, and dedication to your craft. I’ve always had a love for art. I took that love for art and turned it into a passion for hair in 2013. I’ve spent the past 5 years endlessly perfecting my craft.
I went to Atlanta Georgia where I was able to be apart of the Candy Shaw academy for three days and learn French cutting! I also was blessed to join Candy Shaw in Ohio where I began my LOVE for balayage! I love challenges such as color corrections, color melting, and high lifts. So please bring your challenges to me! I believe that this is a career that will always keep you on your toes because Trends are always changing. This is what makes me love my craft even more. I’ll never stop growing , and my promise to you is I’ll never make you feel like you’re stuck in a rut.
Susy Spangler

Hi, I’m Susy, a licensed hairstylist at Wicked Scissors in Fortville, IN. I have been doing hair since 2019. I specialize in men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts, styling, and color. My passion is helping you express who you are and creating a look that feels true to you—whether subtle, bold, or somewhere in between. I've been in the industry 10+ years. Multi dimensional Color and Curly girls are my favorites. I have been to Atlanta to the Jamison Shaw Academy getting certified in Balayage along with going to the DevaCurl Academy in NYC 3 times, getting Certified at their highest level. I believe in a thorough consultation before every service to get to know you, your needs, wants and lifestyle. That way I can make you feel the most confident, beautiful, BEST version of yourself, inside and out.

Hi! My name is Kylie Drudge. I am a recent graduate of Warrens Academy of Cosmetology in Indianapolis! I Have had a love for all things beauty since I was little. My favorites are blonding, color, styling, and waxing. I always love meeting new people and building relationships with my clients. It's always important to me that my clients feel comfortable in my chair. My favorite thing in the salon is seeing a client's smile and confidence after getting a service and providing them with the knowledge on how to take care of their hair outside of the salon!
Outside of my professional career I love spending time with family and friends. I love to travel and adventure to new places. I am also very artsy and love all things crafty.

Gabrielle Grelle

Hello, my name is Gabrielle Grelle, I graduated from J. Everett Light Academy of Beauty in 2020. I’ve had an interest in doing hair since I saw my first hair tutorial at 12 and loved it since. Growing up I jumped on every possible chance to style hair. Having all brothers I quickly found a passion for specializing in men’s styling and hair care.
I’ve lived in Indy my whole life and have loved every step of my integration into Fortville. Outside of hair I spend most of my time with my friends and family, especially my brothers. I also love to serve my church in the children’s ministry. I’m a movie fanatic and could talk about movies and shows for days. I always love meeting knew people and I look forward to meeting you!

Hi! My name is Olivia and I graduated from Freestyle Academy for Hair in the spring of 2020. I've had a passion for the beauty industry since I was very little. Some of my favorite services to provide are any balayage and highlight service. I love to get to know my clients and make them my friends! Outside of work, I love to play with my doggie, Ohshi, and be around my friends, plus my animal friends! I have another passion for rodeo and food. I'd love to get to know you and make all of your hair dreams come true, thank you!

Hello! My name is Olivia Brooks. I graduated from Warren Central Academy of Cosmetology in 2022! I have had a love and passion for hair since I was 8 years old doing braids and styling my moms, aunts, and sisters hair! My specialties are blonding, coloring, styling, and cuts! I love meeting new clients and getting to know every individual clients personalities and bringing their vision to life! My favorite thing about this industry is the smile on each clients face when they see the final product and walk out feeling better than ever! My goal is to make every person feel welcomed and in love with their hair by the end of every appointment!
Outside of my professional career, I love spending time with my one year old son and my wonderful fiance! I love taking walks, going on adventures, discovering new places, trying new restaurants, and going out with my friends!

Hi, I'm McKinley Rose. I am a recent graduate from Summit Salon Academy this past spring! I've had a huge passion for the beauty industry since I was young. Some services I enjoy giving the most are highlights and all coloring services. I love being able to meet new people every day and growing to know clients in my chair. Ive had a passion for all things beauty since a young age and am so excited to be growing my career behind the chair! I am dedicated to helping you feel confident and fall back in love with your beautiful healthy hair!
I focus on rejuvenating your healthy, radiant hair whether thats through color, styling, or customized treatments designed to bring your hair back to life! I believe great hair starts with care, so I love taking the time to get to know each guest’s hair goals and helping them build confidence in their everyday routine.
I am also working toward the dream to specialize in bridal styling! I want to bring beautiful personalized looks to life for every special occasion and make everyone feel radiant on their big days!

Hi! My name is Angela Guy, I graduated from Heartland Career Center in 2023 in Wabash. I just recently moved to Ingalls and would love to meet new people! I have a passion for doing bright blondes and dimensional blondes as well as men’s haircuts!
